The Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) is the national trade association for Canada’s private home, auto and business insurers.
They work closely with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency, municipalities and municipal districts and counties during emergency situations to provide information about insurance.
IBC has a Consumer Information Centre that can answer general questions about insurance. We encourage residents to reach out to them during usual business hours at:
1-844-2ask-IBC (1844-227-5422)
