Please note
Applications are now open for the 2025 Annual Bursary Program. Apply between August 1 and 31 using the online form below to be considered.
The MD of Taber is committed to supporting residents who are furthering their education. Each year, we award up to four (4) one-time bursaries of $500 to individuals residing within the municipal boundaries of the MD of Taber.
While this bursary is open to any field of study, preference will be given to applicants enrolled in programs that may lead to employment within the agricultural sector. View the MD of Taber Bursary Policy here.
Eligibility and conditions:
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college, university, or recognized post-secondary program.
- Applicants must be residents of the MD of Taber prior to enrollment.
- Preference will be given to those enrolled in agriculture-related studies, but all eligible applicants will be considered.
- A maximum of four bursaries will be awarded annually; if more than four applications are received, the four most aligned with agricultural employment will be selected.
- The bursary is awarded once per individual and cannot be repeated in future years.
- Applications are accepted August 1–31 of the current year and must be submitted using the online application form below.
- Proof of enrollment (PDF format) is required for a complete application.
- Applications will be reviewed at the next available Agricultural Service Board or Council meeting in September.
