Education & Awareness

The Agriculture Service Board (ASB) will provide workshops, demonstration sites and make available education material to all ratepayers on a wide variety of interests within the agriculture industry. The ASB is also involved with some long term studies and projects that will assist producers to better manage our scarce resources.

2022 Farmer Pesticide Course

This course is mandatory for farmers who wish to use restricted pesticides such as Thimet for potato production or Phostoxin for grain bin fumigation. Useful for environmental farm planning, and for HACCP, Canada GAP compliance.

DUE TO COVID-19, THE COURSE WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE VIA ZOOM MEETING.

  • April 6, 2022

To register, you must:

  1. Be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Prepay a $40.00 registration fee prior to course date. Fee includes course manual.
