The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with Land Use Bylaw No 1722 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new development in the MD of Taber.

Notice Area - Oldman River South (Taber Times)

PERMITTED USES:
DA 98B-22: SW 19-9-17-W4 (93003 Rge Rd 180); Waiver of 150’ centreline setback to construct a deck

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted. 

DISCRETIONARY USES:
DP 98A-22: SW 19-9-17-W4 (93003 Rge Rd 180); Addition to dog breeding kennel 

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for the appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

DA 96-22: Lot 5 Block 12 Plan 0814255 (122 Klingers Street, Enchant); Detached garage

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted. 

DISCRETIONARY USES:
DP 88-22: SE 16-14-15-W4; 100 kW solar installation for an irrigation pivot

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for the appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice. 

DP 25-22: W ½ 20, E ½ 30, SE 31 and NW 17-13-16-W4 – 60 MW solar project

If an appeal is to be lodged for Permit 25-22, it shall be received by the Provincial Land and Property Rights Tribunal, Alberta Municipal Affairs – Development Appeals Case Manager, 2nd Floor, 1229 – 91 Street SW, Edmonton, Alberta T6X 1E9 or email lprt.appeals@gov.ab.ca within 21 days after the date of this notice.
