The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with Land Use Bylaw No 1722 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new developments in the MD of Taber.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED OR REFUSED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:    

 

Permitted Uses:

DP 165-24; Lot 1 Blk 1 PL 1711155 within SW 34-9-17-W4 - Construct 1,040 sq ft shop

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 162-24; Lot 6 Blk 1 PL 1212111 within SE 36-9-17-W4 - Construct 4,500 sq ft shop for Industrial Class C use

DP 163-24; Lot 39 Blk 29 PL 1013680 within Grassy Lake - Install 8kW AC, 8.2kW DC roof mount solar array

DP 164-24; Lot 2 Blk 2 PL 0813694 within SW 26-9-18-W4 - Install 4,000 sq ft fabric (canvas) cover style shop building

DP 166-24; SE 18-10-16-W4 - Construct 6,000 sq ft addition to an existing potato storage building

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 161-24; Lot 23 Blk 17 PL 0810492 within Hays - Move-in 1,460 sq ft mobile home

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.
