The 2025 Municipal Election will be held on Monday, October 20th. Nominations for the general election will be open between January 1st and September 22nd, 2025.
Qualifications of candidates
To run for Council, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Canadian citizen
- Have been a resident of the MD of Taber for the six consecutive months preceding Nomination Day
- You are not otherwise ineligible or disqualified
