Amphitheatre Booking Guidelines

The Taber Municipal Park Amphitheatre is part of Group-Use Area C.

Groups less than 25 people:

  • Group-Use Area C is used for hosting smaller events with the amphitheatre. Booking includes a small camp kitchen, picnic tables and several electrical plugs around the amphitheatre.
  • Parking is limited, so visitors must park in the day-use parking lot and walk to the event. The nearest washroom facilities are located east in the day-use area. (No lighting or sound equipment is provided with the rental.)
  • Community groups hosting events are responsible for their own security (1 security person per 25 participants) and for cleanup after the event. Failure to do so will result in extra charges billed at $100.00/hour for park contractors to clean the area.
  • The MD will provide safety vests to event volunteers, and barricades if asked for in advance. Extra garbage receptacles are also available if needed.
  • All park bylaws remain in effect.

Groups more than 25 people:

  • To accommodate an event larger than 25 people, both Group-Use C (amphitheatre) and Group-Use A must be booked together.
  • Reserving Group-Use C includes the amphitheatre area as described above. (No lighting or sound equipment is provided with the rental.)
  • Reserving Group-Use A includes the grassed area, a larger parking lot closer to the amphitheatre, closer washroom facilities, and a larger camp kitchen with extra electrical plugs.
  • Community groups hosting events are responsible for their own security (1 security person per 25 participants) and for cleanup after the event. Failure to do so will result in extra charges billed at $100.00/hour for park contractors to clean the area.
  • Community Groups are responsible for purchasing their own insurance coverage.
  • The MD will provide safety vests to event volunteers, and barricades if asked for in advance. Extra garbage receptacles are also available if needed.
  • All park bylaws remain in effect in Group-Use areas.
