Municipal District of Taber Declares State of Agricultural Disaster

Engineering Services Awarded for Initial Phase of the Horsefly Emergency Regional Spillway Project­

Horsefly Emergency Spillway Project Funding Announcement­


Date: November 23, 2020

The Municipal District of Taber (MDT) received a much-welcomed announcement from the federal government. Today, the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, and Merrill Harris, Reeve of the MDOT announced $9.8 million in approved funding for Phases 2 and 3 of the Horsefly Regional Emergency Spillway Project.
