TABER, AB — Reaching its second-year anniversary, Service Tracker has shown to be useful in providing residents a convenient way to connect with the Municipal District of Taber. Since its launch on October 1, 2019, our staff have responded to over 500 service requests (which is in addition to the MDT’s regular operations and service delivery. The success of this application has been achieved by the conscientious efforts of the MD of Taber team and residents’ willingness to use the tool.
“Service Tracker is about our evolution in customer service excellence while providing enhanced visibility on our commitment to public service,” explains Reeve Harris. “We as Council are pleased with the results of this new program, which at the end of the day supports our overall goal of providing reliable services to our residents.”
Service Tracker is an online service request and tracking system which provides residents 24/7 access to submit a request. In one central location, Service Tracker streamlines how staff identifies, prioritizes, assigns and responds to requests and supports performance measurement by way of accountability, productivity and tracking of requests.
