Congratulations to the Municipal District of Taber's new Councillors-Elect who will be leading our community through the next term. We would also like to recognize all of the candidates who put their names forward.

The Council Organizational Meeting will be held on Monday, October 25th at 1:00 pm in Council Chambers, where the Reeve and Deputy Reeve will also be selected for the upcoming year. The meeting will be streamed live on the MD of Taber website and on YouTube.

Unofficial Results: Local senate election and referendum vote

While the rest of Alberta communities hosted its municipal elections, the Municipal District of Taber residents voted for their senate recommendation and on two referendum questions.

The following information is the unofficial results for the MD of Taber.

Elections Alberta will post the official results no sooner than Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 11 a.m. The results of the two referendum questions will be announced and the three senate candidates that received the highest number of votes will be declared elected. Results will be available on elections.ab.ca.
