The Municipal District of Taber Regional Fire Services (MDTRFS) stands as a cornerstone of safety and protection for our rural community, which spans a vast and diverse geographic area. Through six strategically located fire stations, we deliver timely, effective, and efficient responses to everyday emergencies.
Our fire stations are positioned to provide exceptional service, focusing on fire prevention, education, protection, and safety. This network of dedicated professionals ensures that residents across our region can count on reliable, community-focused emergency response when it matters most.
MDTRFS is powered by a remarkable team of over 90 volunteer firefighters, supported by six district chiefs, a deputy regional fire chief, and a regional fire chief. These individuals are ready to respond at a moment's notice when emergencies arise. Beyond response efforts, our team regularly participates in evening and weekend training sessions and actively engages in fire prevention initiatives to enhance community safety.
