The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with the MD of Taber's Land Use Bylaw No. 2011 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new developments in the Municipal District of Taber.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:    


Permitted Uses:

DP 159-25; SW 10-9-13-W4 - Construct a 9,600 sq ft Class A Agricultural building and a 1,440 sq ft horse barn

DP 162-25; Lot 8 PL 5814GX within South Vauxhall Subdivision - Construct 128 sq ft addition to existing dwelling

DP 163-25; Lot 1 Blk 1 PL 1312492 within NE 13-15-19-W4 – Move-in new 1,824 sq ft modular home

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 147-25; NW 23-10-16-W4 - Installation of a 45 m (148 ft) tall telecommunications self-support tower and accessory building

DP 148-25; Lot 3 Block 5 Plan 3876R in Johnson’s Addition - Construct a (35’ x 45’) 1,575 sq ft detached garage

DP 160-25; Lot 1 Block 1 Plan 1213113 in NW 11-10-15-W4 - Construct a 3,000 sq ft shop for personal use

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 155-25; Lot 8 Block 6 Plan 8311791 within Enchant - Operate shed construction business

DP 158-25; SW 3-15-17-W4 - Construct 12,230 sq ft addition to an existing 18,420 sq ft Agricultural building

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.
