The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with the MD of Taber's Land Use Bylaw No. 2011 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new developments in the Municipal District of Taber.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:    


Permitted Uses:

DP 50-26; Lot 1 Block 5 Plan 0912746 in SW 12-10-16-W4 – Install 4.61kW AC, 6kW DC roof-mount solar array

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 42-26; Lot 6 Block 1 Plan 1212111 in SE 36-9-17-W4 - Install one (1) (7’ x 14’) 98 sq ft and two (2) (6’ x 6’) 36 sq ft freestanding and illuminated signs

DP 53-26; NW 18-10-13-W4 - Construct 1,500 sq ft addition to connect existing 7,200 sq ft learning centre (school) buildings

DP 56-26; SW 8-9-16-W4 - Construct 7,920 sq ft shop

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

DP 52-26; Lot 26 Block 12 Plan 2310278 in Enchant - Construct 1,389 sq ft dwelling with a 676 sq ft attached garage

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 11-25; NW 25-13-18-W4 - Existing previously occupied moved-in 900 sq ft manufactured dwelling

DP 47-26; Lot 2 Block 1 Plan 1711727 in Vauxhall Airport - Move-in a 160 sq ft Class B (permanent) shipping container

DP 55-26; Lot 22 Block 17 Plan 0512608 in Hays - Move-in new 1,088 sq ft prefabricated dwelling
