The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with Land Use Bylaw No. 2011 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new developments in the Municipal District of Taber.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:    


Permitted Uses:

DP 108-25; Lot 44 Blk 44 PL 1510055 within Grassy Lake - Install 2.16kW AC, 3kW DC roof mount solar array

DP 109-25; Lot 48 Blk 47 PL 1510055 within Grassy Lake - Install 5kW AC, 6.3kW DC roof mount solar array

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 84-25; NW 35-9-16-W4 - Change in use to 2,400 sq ft shop for Indust. Class B use

DP 93-25; Lot 1 PL 9710346 within NE 20-9-16-W4 - Increase the intensity of an existing mechanic shop (Industrial Class C)

DP 110-25; Lot 11 Blk 3 PL 9610185 within SE 1-10-18-W4 - Construct 1,500 sq ft shop

DP 111-25; NE 26-10-15-W4 - Construct 45,152 sq ft potato storage building

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

DP 113-25; Lot 30 Blk 17 PL 0810492 within Hays - Construct 528 sq ft detached garage
