The latest Development Permits approved by the Development Authority in accordance with the MD of Taber's Land Use Bylaw No. 2011 are posted here as a way of informing the public of new developments in the Municipal District of Taber.

THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABER HAS APPROVED THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT PERMITS:    


Permitted Uses:

DP 146-25; NE 3-10-17-W4 - Construct 288 sq ft shed

DP 152-25; Lot 3 Blk 1 PL 1911325 within NE 29-9-16-W4 - Install 10.75kW AC, 15.12kW DC roof mount solar array

DP 153-25; Lot 1 Block 1 Plan 2110011 within Johnson’s Addition - Construct 448 sq ft lean-to shed addition

Note: No appeal is available for the issuance of a development for a Permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use Bylaw have been relaxed, varied, or misinterpreted.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 154-25; Lot 1 Block 1 Plan 1310598 in SW 27-9-17-W4 - Temporary storage of two pre-occupied (trailer style) units totaling 1,456 sq ft on blocks

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.

Discretionary Uses:

DP 149-25; SE 15-12-18-W4 - Storage of a previously occupied 1,440 sq ft mobile dwelling on blocks

DP 150-25; Lot 3 Block 2 Plan 2010659 in E ½ 30-12-16-W4 - Phase 5 expansion of King Arthur’s Lake Front Resort

Any person claiming to be affected by a Development Permit for a Discretionary Use may appeal the decision by submitting a written notice stating reasons for appeal and a $400.00 fee to the MD of Taber Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days after the date of this notice.
