The Subdivision and Development Authority Committee (SDA) is responsible for overseeing and exercising subdivision and development powers on behalf of the MD of Taber. This authority operates in alignment with the Municipality's administrative procedures and statutory plan policies, ensuring that all development within the district adheres to regulations designed to support growth, sustainability, and community well-being.
The SDA is empowered to review and approve subdivision and development applications that comply with all municipal bylaws.
Meetings
Meetings of the SDA are typically held twice a month on Mondays, but sometimes they fall on Tuesdays (statutory holidays). These meetings are open to the public and take place in the Council Chambers at the MD of Taber Administration Building, located at:
