Bulk Water Account Application

This application is used to create an account to access any of the 4 bulk water dispensing stations within the Municipal District of Taber (MDT).  Applications will be kept on file by the MTD. Contact the Administration Office at 403-223-3541 for more information.

Applying for an MDT bulk water account will allow you access to any one of our 4 dispensing locations:

  • GRASSY LAKE    330, 3rd Street South
  • HAYS                   216, 5th Street
  • ENCHANT          161, North Avenue
  • VAUXHALL        162026 TWP RD 13-2


Ways to Apply

There are many ways to apply for your bulk water account.

1. APPLY ONLINE

Applications and payments will be processed immediately. Once the account has been activated, a notification will be sent within 24 hours to the email address provided containing your new account number and access code.

2. APPLY IN-PERSON

Applications and payments will be processed immediately and the new account will be open for use within approximately 1 hour of processing.

3. APPLY BY MAIL

Applications and payments will be processed after receipt of mail from Canada Post. Please allow 10-14 business days from time of mailing for processing and return of account access information before use.


Ways to Pay

 There are many ways to add funds to your bulk water account.

BULK WATER ACCOUNTS ARE PREPAID ONLY. Please reference your account number when making payments.

1. PAY ONLINE

Using your credit card visit mdtaber.ab.ca/p/online-payments and prepay using 'OptionPay' (service fees apply).

2. PAY IN-PERSON

Pay by cash, debit, or cheque at the Administration Office, or leave a cheque in the after-hours drop box located at the front doors.

3. PAY BY MAIL

Send a cheque payable to:

4. PAY AT MOST FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

In-person, or through online and telephone banking. To add as a payee, look for ‘Municipal District of Taber’, or contact your bank or financial institution to find out more.

Bulk Water Dispensing Stations are currently open 24 hours per day (subject to change). Tracking and maintaining account balances is the customer’s responsibility. (Balances appear on the access terminal) Maintenance of accounts is only available during normally posted business hours.
