Our Mission
The Municipal District of Taber Agricultural Service Board provides agricultural services deemed necessary to promote and support agriculture and to enhance and protect the environment for the benefit of all residents.
Our Vision
The Agricultural Service Board, through its mandated responsibilities found within the Agricultural Service Board Act, the Weed Control Act, the Agricultural Pests Act, the Livestock Disease Act and the Soil Conservation Act, together with the agricultural community, seeks to develop and deliver environmental stewardship programs that are relevant for local environmental, agronomic and economic conditions with deference to the climate, soil, and water relationships that exist within municipal boundaries.
The members of the Agricultural Service Board will be committed to the agricultural industry and will seek to refer sound recommendations on agricultural issues to the Municipal Council.
